A delightful, elegant and beautifully refined Cabernet Franc · Loire Valley, France

From the terroirs of Anjou Noir, at the heart of the Côteaux de l’Aubance and Anjou Brissac appellations, this Cabernet Franc by Montgilet is made from vines approximately 35 years old, planted on sandstone schist.

Vinified entirely through infusion with gentle extraction, it focuses on the purity of the fruit and the finesse of the tannins. The wine reveals a deep garnet color and an expressive nose with notes of small red berries and dark fruit, notably blackcurrant and cherry.

On the palate, the attack is full and generous. The fruit expresses itself intensely, supported by supple texture and silky tannins, resulting in a wine that is both delightful, balanced and elegant.

An approachable Cabernet Franc full of character, which will naturally find its place at the table with rib steak, pot-au-feu or duck breast.

Les Cousins is also a nod to the six cousins who carry on the family history and bring to life, through this range, the emblematic grape varieties of their terroirs.
