From the terroirs of Anjou Noir, at the heart of the Côteaux de l’Aubance and Anjou Brissac appellations, Les Cousins Chardonnay is a dry white wine produced by Montgilet in Juigné-sur-Loire.

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from approximately 20-year-old vines planted in blue schist clay soils, it charms from the very first nose with delicate notes of white flowers and white-fleshed fruits.

On the palate, it offers lovely freshness, accompanied by an indulgent, fruity texture. The winemaking, combining skin maceration and direct pressing, emphasizes freshness and the aromatic expression of the grape variety.

Approachable, elegant and refined, this Chardonnay is particularly enjoyable as an aperitif, but also with fish in sauce, seafood, creamed poultry or mature cheeses.

Les Cousins is also a nod to the six cousins who carry on the family history and bring the emblematic grape varieties of their terroirs to life through this range.
